We’re still here

February 17th, 2010

A late thank you to all the lovely Canadians that came out to see us in October. We had a great time. Right now we are recharging our batteries and looking towards the horizon. If you really really miss us you should check out Snorri’s solo album that was released in Iceland before christmas. As expected, it’s a great set from the songsmith you’ve come to love over the course of our two albums – and it’s all in English so you can finally sing along!

Engrish

October 16th, 2009

So, we’re working on some tracks in English. We’ll be bringing a single with us on the Canadian tour – the double A-side “Worry Till Spring”/”Tonight”. We hope to press it on a seven inch record later this year as well. Looks pretty sweet, eh?

Oh Canada

September 27th, 2009

Hey peops,

we’re preparing a pretty immense tour of Eastern Canada. We don’t have all the dates fully booked as of now, but you can expect us to make an appearance in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Fredricton, Charlottetown, Moncton and Sidney. That’s a lot of towns, eh?

The Halifax show will kick things off on October 21st – we’re opening for Mates of State at Halifax Pop Explosion (tickets) and will ride around for the following two weeks.

Also, we’re in the process of making an English language album for you guys. It should be ready late this year and come out in 2010. We’ll bring some sneak previews to Canada.

Later.

Snorko goes solo

June 30th, 2009

snorko

Our bitch Snorri just recorded a solo song. It’s called “Freeze-Out” and is the first song off of an album he’s working on and should be out in the autumn sometime (’autumn’ is the word Europeans use for ‘fall’). Check it out below – and check out the awesome digital cover art as well.

Listen.
